Born in PNG to parents with itchy feet and over a dozen years flying with Qantas internationally, I am not someone who likes to stay in one place too long. The distance travelled these days is measured in suburbs not countries but it’s my love of the new, different and interesting which feeds my design soul. My boys have grown long used to coming home from school to find the house completely re-arranged and styled anew. I like to think it keeps the energy moving and encourages us to use the spaces in new ways.
Design is as much a mindset as a skillset and it’s something I’ve always dabbled in. It wasn’t until 2016 when I could no longer ignore the siren song of design and completed a diploma in Design & decoration, throwing my hat over the wall for a new career. My skills in customer service and project management honed over the years are a huge asset and bring the “function” to the “form” of interior design.
